Of course you can't be convinced. You no longer do alcohol or drugs and live a crazy life full of numerous lovers. Your dead Casca, man. You might as well put on a suit and tie every morning and become the walking corpse Edu Goldenturd and 90% of the world's population already are.
Show me one example of great art that was not conceived by a combination of narcotics, agony, social strife, tumult, deep depression and love affairs gone horribly wrong? Show me Casca...

Whose comments, Edu? Mine or the thousands of hugs and "Beijocas" I always read on here?

Or is it the silence?

"...had better be polite to Arthur or he might not say hi to me when I see him in Lapa...."

In the favela there are only 2 kinds of people in the world. LEGAL ou NAO LEGAL. So simple yet soooo profound.

I am laughing...how long could guys like Edu and Casca survive in any of Rio's favelas? Or should I say how many minutes?
The even bigger question is when will they come down from those hills and finally kill you all? Maybe never like many people say but miracles do happen, especially in Rio. Bem feito gente...

What do you all expect? Arthur's SERIOUS blog? If you don't like it then take your beer (casca can take his coca-lite) and go sit at another table.

Arthur and I are sitting down together and having a few dozen or so drinks. This has always been our relationship. There are few things more sacred in life then 2 MEN having drinks and conversation after a long day of work.

Remember Arthur, man...we'd go out and once they heard the ENGLISH...heckling. You would shake your head with annoyance and apologize to me. I'd smile and say, "...dude, it's ok. The New York Yankees have just arrived in Boston...."

Arthur man...let me tell you somethin'. I am a Tijucano born and bred. Yes, I know my elitest snobby south zone friends and lovers are horrified by this fact. FUCK THEM. I never met more REAL people in Rio than I did in Tizzzzzzzzzzjuuuuca.
Nothin' sickened me more than watching Tijuca turn to shit. Tijuca is the heart and soul of Rio de Janeiro. Tim Maia's family is still there. Tim Maia is a god to me. I downloaded many of his songs. I love the obscure ones the most. I thank the gods of the universe for giving me the opportunity to be with the Maia family on numerous occasions.

Arthur, I know where I come from deeply influences how I both behave and think. It's normal but it doesn't mean it's right.

When I first arrived in Brazil, I immediately began investigating what you guys do better than us. There are many many many things about Brazil which make it a far superior place to the USA. Fuck yeah, I want to take all of that and make it work up here!!!!!

One reason why I always go into a hate frenzy when Brazilians say, "...we suck. Gringo, what do you expect?" FAROFA FAROFA FAROFA!!!! Please stop it...

Between the ages of 6 and 21, I stopped thinking. What happened? I was being "educated". After the the 1st Gulf War, The film JFK and reading Peter Mathiessen's "In the Spirit of Crazy Horse", I WOKE UP.
Yeah, it was the day I lost my mind. Became crazy. It was the most beautiful day. Gnarl's Barkley's song, "Crazy" best's describes the feeling.

Unfortunately back then it seemed like I was the only guy on earth who felt and thought this kind of "crazy". Over the past 15 years I have noticed more and more people waking up and leaving the matrix. Yeah, we're all "crazy".

I was delightfully shocked when I first discovered the work of Alex Jones a couple of years ago. Here was a guy who was the complete opposite of me. A mutual and cultural enemy. I realized if a caipira from Texas who does not drink, fornicate and take the Lord's name in vain can see the same things as I then the moment of real change has finally ARRIVED.
Alex Jones broke through. He speaks for all of us even though he's a total "square". Everyday the guy is out there fighting and speaking truth like a crazed viking beserker.

The secret? Keep thinking. Question EVERYTHING. Also question the ANSWERS you receive. Keep "tunneling" and we'll eventually find our "Shawshank Redemption".

Anônimo disse...

Putz, Casca...the guy complains why I am on here so late for a Saturday night. So tell me this my "whipping boy"...why have I caught you on here at the same fuckin' time reading my stuff at least a dozen times???? Admit it...you enjoy the entertainment too.

I remember an example of gross ingnorance coming from a Brazilian psuedo-intellectual. It was during one of those god-awful Sergio Barreto-fests we were all forced to attend. Christ, I hated going to those things downtown. I'd spend the mornings trying to ignore Sergio's voracious need for self-aggrandizement while wondering why super-hot Brasileiras never taught much less learned how to speak English. Vitor Martins was right, "....they never make it past Basic III...."

Anyway during lunch myself and the "other gringos" would sit down and drink a dozen or so chopps. Sergio was much more tolerable when shit-faced. It was also the only time of the year when we saw each other. It was a reunion. Time to tell jokes and come to grips with the insanity of living in a hell-hole like Rio de Janeiro. We were all "divorced" from our first psycho-pathic Brasileira brides and LOVING IT.
It was then I heard it... Some young Brasileiro from Niteroi kept "American bashing" the whole time. To be honest, this kind of thing rarely bothered me. However, if you're going to bash America then you'd better know your facts.
Next came his absolute confidance in knowing that "there is no CULTURE in the USA...."
"...Really?" we all asked him while giggling and giving each other knowing winks. Yeah. I always loved hearing this kind of denouncement. Europeans do it to us all the time.
He persisted and went on to explain that we Americans have never contributed anything significant to the human race. We were nothing but trash and stole everything from everyone blah blah blah...so euro-centric this guy was.
I kept my composure despite the gallons of chopp Brahma I was guzzling down in record breaking amounts. Sergio Barreto for 9 hours...NINGUEM MERECE....
"What about Rock n Roll?" I asked.
"Hock n Hole was even stolen by you guys...The Beatles and Holling StonES were the first..."
All conversation at the table immediately ceased and all eyes were upon him. Even the waiters and shoe-shine boys stopped despite not knowing a word of English.
"Dude...ever heard of Elvis, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis?" I politely asked.
"Yes of course" he answered.
"Memphis, Tennessee 1956 and Buenos Aires is the capital of Brazil. Everybody knows..."

Hugo Chavez is now sitting in Miraflores Palace smoking a Jamaican Fatty, sipping Cuban Rum and watching Alex jones documentaries. (According to award winning journalist Greg Palast, Chavez is a huge Alex Jones fan)He tightly clutches his teddy-bear aptly named "Hugo"(it's all connected, dude) and wonders what is scarier...The Truth of Alex Jones or another article written by this gringo ghost named Garrett St. James???

I'm sure many of you are wondering how in the hell Arthur found a guy like me. One day Arthur will have to explain but as for me the guy wasn't a typical carioca. Definitely not a Vagabundo Vampiro.
Another thing was that Arthur got into the same amount of trouble as I did at work. We are survivors of the Dona Grossa Inquisition.
It wasn't that we both had done something wrong on the job but dared question the absolute superiority and authority of Dona Grossa. Arthur was always in trouble...
"Don't worry, dude. I know how to talk to them...." was what he'd say to me before going inside the director's office.

For me it was always the same. Dani always did Dona Grossa's dirty work.
"So Garrett...how many women are you fucking now?" was how the conversations began. I would tell her the truth and Dani of course got off on it with Dona Grossa listening intently nearby. About 90seconds later Dani was venomously insulting me, my country and what ever it was I allegedly did during class.
Not sure what Dona Grossa thought during these "inquisitions" but Dani was always thrown into a schizophrenic mania. She didn't know if she wanted to kill or fuck me. The manias would worsen because I kept putting off the fucking part. I had everyone except her.
Why couldn't she be nice to me for even a few seconds? Dani in 2003 was the anti-thesis of my soon to be ex-wife. Dani was Brazil. God...how I loved to watch her talk, move and walk. God..it was awful to see her ruined by both Dona Grossa and Edu afterwards.

Arthur, I am sure it was Dani's idea to have you become "chums" with Edu. She's always looking for an "escape". Oh Dani darlin' you still have a couple more years of tunneling before you find your "Shawshank Redemption".

I'll continue to keep sending you all kinds of news and info regarding the situation as it happens. Watch and learn. Most importantly listen to your own instincts. When things become too fucked up, you'll have 2 real choices. Fight or run. Don't panic and freeze. They did this on the beaches of south asia when the tsunami came...Refuse to be silent.

My soon to be ex wife...for her everything in life is now perfect. Great. In 2003 everyone who wasn't into Alan Kardec and Chico Xavier was a lowly sub-human. Today it's everyone who isn't an atheist. Everything must be explained with logic and scientific rational.
For me the Truth can be found somewhere in between. It's why I sent an e-mail wishing her the best of luck and thanking her for giving me one of the best April 23rd's ever. Included was a giant photo of O Cristo Redentor...

Many thanx Arthur and peace,

Beijo e saudades.

Yes, thank god for you Casca, no one else in the world can understand what you write. Portuguese???? ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Ninguem Merece!!!! Please Brazil, continue being that stupid fat kid in the classroom of nations.

Nothing causes me more hysterical laughter than watching y'all trying in vain to preserve a language that should have been eradicated 400 years ago. What was wrong with Spanish? Now this is a beautiful language! Spanish has a rich history full of literary and philosophic achievments. Portuguese???? Well the world is still waiting...

For at least 18 months in Brazil, I purposely refused to learn the language. I wanted peace and quiet, you know? Nothing disgusts me more than listening to people talk about nothing. For 18 months all I heard was noise.

Arthur would always joke with me about Dona Grossa's sense of humor or should I say...lack of.
"Dude, you have no idea. We gotta sit there and listen to her jokes and pretend to laugh...."

So true Arthur man but I knew I was in deep shit when I began to understand Dona Grossa's Portuguese and found myself involuntarily laughing too. Christ what was worse? Her jokes or when she would sit and spread her legs in front of everyone to see during those god for saken meetings we attended.

I enjoyed every minute I was in Brazil, even the hellish nite-mare I had spent with my soon to be ex-wife but I hated the 104 hours I spent suffering during those meetings. I want my money back. I want a refund.
What was Dona Grossa's problem? Nobody wanted to fuck her...

You see Arthur???? We are tryin' to have an ordinary conversation but everyone in the bar has to listen in. Ok...they wanna show then they will have one.
Everyday when I was there I had no privacy. Everyone had to listen and everyone had to know everything. It was BBB all the fuckin' time. Why can't they just mind their own business???? IMPOSSIBLE.
The more beer is poured, the louder I become. Shit...they all, except for your friend Goldenturd, understand English. They are all ready for a "mind-rape".

Getting to know your enemy. Arthur, the more you get to know we Americans, the more you're going to know yourself. Take a look inside of the HORROR.
What causes evil to exist and flourish? A garden soiled by gross irresponsibility, blatant cowardice and willful ignorance. There is a never ending supply of bullshit for this garden of un-eden.

Feel your dreams and passions being sucked out of you. Listen to the mindless speak without interruption. Watch the blood of innocents flow in torrents. Witness the very worst receive the most pompous of accolades while the best of us are publicly ridiculed, tortured and crucified. Knowing your enemies are out there blissfully pro-creating and enjoying the fruits of your labor while you sit at home impoverished and child-less. Realizing every lover you have ever known was just using you to pass the time.

Despite all of these things, there finally comes a day when you can boldly and unapologetically raise that beautiful middle finger.

I have a new job now. 10 weeks ago I did something I had always feared. I simply quit. Most of us wake up each morning knowing there are a million reasons not to go to work but we always have that one reason which always wins. Not on February 11. I refused to participate in the bullshit anymore. No drama, no police escorts out of the building, no denunciations. Just handed Shrek my keys with the biggest of smiles on my face...

I met a guy the other day who had a story to tell. His job is to repossess medical equipment from people who are no longer insured. Most of them are terminally ill but have made the mistake of living too long. So this guy goes to their houses and takes their wheelchairs.
Are these wheelchairs re-sold or given away to charity? No, they are immediately tossed into the garbage. If that story doesn't make you drink a few more beers than normal, then your simply not human...

Yeah, dawn has arrived. The birds are chirping and I am getting hungry. Brew the coffee and fry the eggs. Do we have any tobasco sauce left?

I don't mind the "eavesdroppers" around us, Arthur. They can listen in all they want but god damn the rude hecklers. Punishments must be given when deserved. Is it my fault those guys are so boring????

The "acid" comments and rants will continue. The "fueds and quarrles" will also continue. The 1st Amendment is honored on ABSURDOTUROS. Don't like it? Well go to China or the West Bank or Cuba or American occupied Iraq.

Take care Arthur and be safe...

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at this forum. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I make money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and I started with funny 500 bucks.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Visit my web site to get additional info.
