CB Bar em São Paulo: 400 pessoas. Teatro Odisséia, no Rio: 500 pessoas. Foi para estes públicos que a banda de rock/metal carioca Fantasmagore, "um quarteto instrumental atordoante" - nas palavras do jornalista do Globo Online Rodrigo Pinto - tocou no fim de semana passado. Em São Paulo, a banda participou do Festival Produto Instrumental Brasileiro, concorrendo com a cuiabana Macaco Bong e a paulista Elma, e saiu com o prêmio de melhor banda da noite "terrestre" - assim batizada por contar com as bandas mais "pesadas" e "primitivas" do festival. Com isso, a banda garantiu lugar na próxima edição do evento, na qual fará o show de encerramento de uma das noites.

De volta ao Rio, Fantasmagore tocou no evento Flash Rock, em comemoração ao Dia Mundial do Rock, que também apresentou as bandas Cachorro Grande (com um show do lado de fora do Odisséia), Macaco Bong e Moptop. O Teatro Odisséia lotou como se fosse dia de samba, mostrando que o Rio ainda tem, sim, vocação para o rock'n'roll.

Na próxima segunda-feira, dia 20 de julho, entre 18h e 20h, o Fantasmagore dá entrevista no programa Grutaria (http://www.radiogruta.com). Na terça, tem matéria no Megazine, do jornal O Globo, sobre bandas instrumentais. E na quinta, dia 23, a banda toca na final do festival Beba do Rock, no Espaço Marun, no Catete.
